Two Months of Small Habit Changes

It’s already March, the flowers are blooming and the allergies have arrived!

The weekly themes are small and may seem inconsequential in the grand scheme of life, but trust me, it’s the little shifts that can completely alter the trajectory of our lives!  

Week 6: Listen to new music this week

Music can move us in so many ways! Lots of new artists were shared in the comments on Instagram – go check it out!

Week 7: Stretch for 15 minutes each day

A question I posed to the community – how often do you twist? We are usually sitting, facing forward in our office chair or in our car. I’ve been incorporating more twisting-type exercises in my daily routine.

Week 8: Volunteer at a local charity

It’s important to give back to our local community. It doesn’t have to be a huge act either – it can be something small. The point is to contribute and help others.

Week 9: Cut back on watching TV

This one got stressed out some of our TV-watching lovers! Haha! If you find yourself flipping at night to find the right show to watch, go ahead and just turn off the TV – maybe open a book and read, or get some extra sleep (an idea that plays nicely into the theme for week 10).

Week 10: Go to bed 15 minutes earlier each day

Week 11: At the end of each day write down 3 tasks that need to be completed the following morning

Week 12: Plan your dinners at home for the week and stick to the schedule

Week 13: Set a boundary at work to protect your time for deep, meaningful work
